Ufa hosts half marathon "Zabeg.RF"
On May 30, Ufa will host a half marathon "ZaBeg.RF", which is held within the framework of the federal project "Sport – Way of Life" of the national project "Demography".
150 thousand people from all over the country will start running simultaneously, regardless of time zones. Participants will be able to cover distances of 21.1 km, 10, and 5 kilometers. The organizers have prepared a 1-kilometer route for children, which they will be able to run with their parents.
Each ZaBeg participant will receive a T-shirt with the symbol of the city of Ufa in the starting package and a unique medal at the finish line.
The Zabeg.RF Half Marathon has been held annually since 2017. In its debut start, it covered ten cities in Russia, and the next year -15. This year the marathon will be held in 85 cities of the country.
In order to ensure the safety of road traffic and participants in the half marathon, several streets will be partially closed for traffic.
