Traktor took lead in playoff series with HC Salavat Yulaev

On March 3, the first round of the playoffs for HC Salavat Yulaev started at the Ufa Arena. According to the Ufa hockey players, the opening match of the series with Traktor may give a clue as to further tactics in the fight against the Chelyabinsk team.

The second period was not as successful for Tomi Lamsa's players as the starting one. Salavat Yulaev conceded the second goal. At first, the referee team doubted the correctness of the goal. They watched the moment regarding a hand pass. This violation was not noticed. Then Salavat Yulaev took a video review for goalie interference, but the judges stated this time: "Good goal!" Despite the fact that the Ufa team outshot Traktor, it failed to catch up with it for 40 minutes of the match - 2: 1.

Vyacheslav Osnovin scored a double in the 44th minute, doubled the advantage of the guests from Chelyabinsk, and made the task for Salavat Yulaev even more difficult - 3: 1. In 2.11 minutes before the end of the match, Salavat Yulaev remained shorthanded and finally lost its winning chances.

Traktor took the lead in the series with Salavat Yulaev. The second game will take place on the ice of the Ufa Arena on March 5. The beginning is at 7.00 pm local time.
