Salavat Yulaev lost to Lokomotiv and will have first playoff game with Traktor

The Ufa hockey club Salavat Yulaev was unable to repeat the success of Bykov's team in 2011 and lost in the last match of the KHL regular championship to Yaroslavl Lokomotiv. The final score on the scoreboard was 4: 1. Thus, Tom Lamsa's players took the fourth line of the Eastern Conference and will play against Traktor Chelyabinsk in the first round of the playoffs.

Rodion Amirov scored the only goal to Lokomotiv. Yaroslavl responded with four goals in the second period. Points were scored by Maxim Osipov, Rushan Rafikov, Denis Alekseev and Alexey Marchenko.

The first two games of the first round of the playoffs will take place on the ice of the Ufa Arena on March 3 and 5.
