Salavat Yulaev beat Dinamo Riga in shootout and set personal record

Salavat Yulaev returned from the away series with six points out of six possible. The Ufa team's four-match home streak began with a confrontation with Dinamo Riga.

The "green squad" dominated in the first 20 minutes. The Ufa team threw two unanswered goals to Janis Voris's net. In the 12th minute, Pavel Koledov took advantage of the mess in the slot and opened the scoring in this match. Rodion Amirov increased the advantage of the home team.

In the second period, the Riga players managed to win the power play but missed the chance to score. Petr Khokhryakov took advantage of Dinamo's mistake and changed the scoreboard figures - 3: 0. Nevertheless, Pēteris Skudra's team was able to strike back and upset Daniil Tarasov twice. Janis Schwanenberg and Gleb Zyryanov distinguished themselves.

The Salavat Yulaev players got angry after the second break and two goals for three minutes. It took Teemu Hartikainen and his teammates 18 seconds to organize the fourth goal. Markus Granlund assisted.

In the 57th minute, Miks Indrašis scored a goal - 4: 3. The Riga coach took a time-out, as there was still a chance to save the match. Moreover, it was realized 53 seconds before the final siren in the 6 to 4 format. The opponents scored at least one point and went into overtime. In overtime, the winner was not defined too. In the shootout, the Bashkir team turned out to be more successful - 5: 4 (B). Thus, Salavat Yulaev had the fourth victory in a row and set a personal record for the current season.

Salavat Yulaev will play the next match on February 7 against the Khabarovsk Amur.
