Bashkir biathletes became fourth in men's relay at World Cup

Bashkir biathletes Anton Babikov and Eduard Latypov in the national team finished fourth in the men's 4x7.5 km relay race at the World Cup in Kontiolahti.

The Russian team, which also included Alexander Loginov and Matvey Eliseev, fought for a medal until the last shooting. However, the missed shots of the finisher Loginov on the stand did not allow them to get ahead of the rivals, according to the Russian Biathlon Union.

The victory was won by the Norwegian national team (Sturla Holm Legrade, Vetle Shostad Christiansen, Tarjei Boe, Johannes Boe), which covered the distance in 1 hour 16 minutes 21.0 seconds and used nine additional cartridges. The second place was taken by the Swedish team (+39.2 seconds; 10 rounds), the German national team (+51.7; nine rounds) closed the top three.
