Alpine skiing season has opened in Ufa

The opening of the alpine skiing season was announced in Ufa. Already, skiing and snowboarding are possible on the Alpine Skiing School slopes and in the Ak Yort Ski Resort, the mayor's office reports.

The season started at the Ak Yort Ski Resort on November 21. Now the complex has a training slope and a small draglift.

The first slopes opened at the Alpine Skiing Sports School last Thursday (Olympic Park), and training is already underway.

"Next week, we will launch the fourth slope; now, snow-making is conducted there. All five ski slopes will be operational by the end of December, provided the weather is favorable," said Andrey Krivosheev, director of the sports school of the Olympic reserve in alpine skiing in Ufa.

There is an equipment rental point at the territory of the sports school. Anyone can enjoy alpine skiing here.
