On the day of its 59th anniversary, the hockey club "Salavat Yulaev" hosted the Nizhnekamsk "Neftekhimik". The guests arrived in Ufa after an inspiring victory over Spartak. And Salavat Yulaev had a track record of two home victories. There were no major changes in Salavat's composition. Only the goalkeeper link was presented by Skrynnikov in reserve and Tarasov as the main one.

This resulted in a small double penalty for the guest team. Philip Larsen capitalized on the powerplay - 4: 1. After that, the coaching staff of Nizhnekamsk decided to involve Konstantin Barulin in the game and give Ivannikov some rest.

The second period ended not in favor of Tomi Lamsa's players. In the 26th minute, the home team was left shorthanded, but they survived. However, while the presenter of the Ufa-Arena announced the game of Salavat Yulaev 5-on-5, Tarasov missed the second goal.

In the third period, the Salavat Yulaev nevertheless hit Konstantin Barulin's net. The squad of foreign players capitalized on the powerplay with the help of Kadeikin, Granlund, and the accurate throw of Hartikainen - 5: 2. A wave was launched across the Ufa-Arena. It worked: Rodion Amirov put an end to the match in 41 seconds. The team of Vyacheslav Butsaev was defeated.

Salavat Yulaev will play their next match on home ice against SKA on November 28.
