Two biathletes from Bashkiria Babikov and Latypov will represent Russia at World Cup

Two trainees of the Bashkir biathlon Anton Babikov and Eduard Latypov, will participate in the World Cup as part of the Russian national team. The competition will start on November 28. The coaching staff of the team headed by Valery Polkhovsky made this decision.

"Anton Babikov showed outstanding performance at races - both on the move and on the shooting stage. Everyone knows this athlete very well. I can say that he is gaining the form that we are expecting from him," said the Russian national team's head coach. "Eduard Latypov is prepared in terms of functional readiness; however, his shooting is not quite ok. To be honest, in this regard, we expected more from him. He needs to work on this component."

Anton Babikov won the second final control mass start at 15 km at the training camp in Khanty-Mansiysk. Eduard Latypov took fifth place in these competitions.
