Firzan Dilmiev won gold medal of World SAMBO Championship

The World SAMBO Championships and Cup have started in Novi Sad, Serbia. Despite the difficult epidemiological situation, more than 400 athletes from 30 countries came to the competition. 40 athletes represented Russia at the event.

A native of Bashkiria, Firzan Dilmiyev replenished the national team's count with a gold medal and took first place in his weight category. The trainee of coach Ruslan Abbyazov competed among the youth in the weight category up to 48 kg.

As a result of the fights, the Russian national team won ten medals: seven gold and three silver.
