The first trainee of Bashkir hockey, who won the main trophy of the National Hockey League, Andrei Vasilevskiy, traditionally arrived in the capital of Bashkiria. He did not bring the Stanley Cup with him for obvious reasons - the accompanying persons [Canadian citizens - ed.] could not arrange the trophy tour due to coronavirus spread restrictions.

Andrei Vasilevsky Jr. visited the Ufa-Arena and signed the walls of the stadium.

"As always, I am glad to come to Ufa, to see good people, fans, who treated me very warmly and still do. I saw my family and friends and, at the same time, did a couple of good things", Vasilevskiy said.

The Stanley Cup winner with the Tampa Bay Lightning invited all hockey fans to the Ufa arena for a photo with his autograph against his photograph's background.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that in the 2019/2020 NHL season, Andrei Vasilevskiy won the most prestigious overseas hockey trophy with the Tampa Bay Lightning on September 29, having beaten the Dallas Stars in six matches. Andrei Vasilevskiy Sr. shared his first emotions about his son's achievements with the agency.
