Vadim Evseev leaves post of FC Ufa head coach
The head coach of the "Ufa" football club Vadim Evseev is leaving his post. The contract was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties, the press service of the Bashkir team reports.
The specialist headed the leading team of Ufa in March 2019, when the club was in a difficult situation. As a result, Vadim Evseev managed to assist the players and keep the Bashkir team in the Russian Premier League.
"Under the leadership of Evseev, Ufa played 55 official matches, in which it won 14 times, had 21 draw games and 20 defeats," the club's press service informs.
After the sale of several key players, Ufa failed to recover during the ten rounds of the Russian Championship of the 2020/2021 season. Now the team is ranked 15th in the standings.
According to preliminary data, Ufa will soon announce the name of the team's new coach. Alexey Stukalov, the coach of Veles (Moscow), may become one. Now the club is ranked fifth in the FNL.
