Another Ufa hockey player is drafted by NHL team

For the first time in history, three trainees of Ufa hockey were drafted by NHL teams. In the seventh round, the Carolina Hurricanes club chose striker Alexander Pashin under number 199.

In total, 23 Russian hockey players were drafted by overseas clubs. Earlier in the list of selected were Salavat Yulaev’s Rodion Amirov (15th number of Toronto Maple Leafs) and Shakir Mukhamadullin (20th number of New Jersey Devils).

Career: Tolpar (2018 - present), Toros (2019 - present), Salavat Yulaev (2019 - present)

Achievements: winner of the Vostok conference of the MHL regular championship (2019/2020), winner of the Glinka/Gretzky Cup (U-18) (2019), winner of the World Challenge Cup (U-18) (2019).
