NHL clubs drafted HC Salavat Yulaev trainees - Amirov and Mukhamadullin

Two trainees of the Salavat Yulaev ice hockey club have been selected in the first round of the NHL draft. The 19-year-old striker of the Ufa team Rodion Amirov was drafted 15th by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In the current season, Rodion Amirov began to really open up. The forward took his place in the first line. Amirov scored 5 points (3 + 2) for ten matches in the KHL with an index of "-1".

The 18-year-old Salavat defender Shakir Mukhamadullin was drafted 20th by the New Jersey Devils. The player in the current KHL season has played 14 matches for the Ufa team and earned six points (1+5). His plus/minus index is "+4".
