Salavat Yulaev defeated Traktor on home ice

The Ufa Salavat Yulaev came out to the match with Traktor Chelyabinsk with an unusual line-up. The coronavirus has made its adjustments. At the beginning of the second period, Ufa-Arena witnessed Soshnikov's effective return. The forward first doubled the advantage of his team in the power play (2: 0), and after a couple of minutes made the opponent make a mistake. Later, both Ufa and Chelyabinsk players had two power plays. None of the rivals capitalized on them.

Then the classic five-man line of guests has achieved success, having scored a goal to gloom over in the locker room. Sergei Kalinin was at the right time and right place - 2: 1.

In the final segment of the match, the teams showed an even game. By the equator of the period, Nikita Soshnikov gave a confidence boost to Salavat Yulaev. The forward dragged the puck from the center of the rink and beat the guests' goalkeeper on the goal area - 3: 1.

The Chelyabinsk ice squad could not recoup, although, after a timeout, they changed the goalkeeper to the sixth player. The Ufa team made up for the previous offensive defeat from Sochi.

Salavat Yulaev will play the next match of the KHL regular championship against Vityaz at home on September 26.
