Ufa hosted large-scale swim across Belaya River for first time

For the first time in history, Ufa hosted a large-scale X-Waters swim on the Belaya River. Not only local residents but also visiting swimmers from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Kazan wanted to test their strength in the capital of Bashkiria. A total of 300 participants from 42 cities of the country.

“We sailed along the Belaya River downstream, so the distances were quite simple, and the speed was great. I participated out of competition, swam with flippers to film a first-person report from the water. The water was warm enough, it was possible to swim without a wetsuit,” posted Rais Gabitov from Ufa in his blog.

Note that the participants swam different distances of 1.5, 3, and 5 km. All swimmers received gifts and medals.
