Defender Alexei Semenov remains in HC Salavat Yulaev for another season

One of the most experienced defenders signed an annual contract with the hockey club Salavat Yulaev. 39-year-old Alexei Semenov - a native of Murmansk changed the red form of “Vityaz” to Ufa green in 2018. Thus, Semenov will play for the Bashkir team for the third year.

The defense player has been playing for Salavat Yulaev since 2018 and has played 97 games for Salavat Yulaev, having gained 11 points (2 + 9), spent 109 power moves, and blocked 147 shots.

Achievements: Max Kaminsky Trophy winner of the best defender of the Hockey League of Ontario (2001), a participant in the NHL Young Stars Match (2004), bronze medalist of the KHL championship (2018/19).
