The Women's World Hockey Championship in Ufa can be postponed from 2021 to 2023. The newspaper AiF-Moscow reported about this.

"We thought to hold the canceled tournaments in Halifax next year, but this will postpone the championship in Ufa to 2023. But all this will be discussed at the congress," said Rene Fasel, president of the International Hockey Federation. According to him, the federation decided to cancel all women's international competitions in connection with the epidemic of coronavirus, the newspaper said.
