Radiy Khabirov met with HC Salavat Yulaev before playoff

Today, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov met with players, coaches and the leadership of the hockey club Salavat Yulaev. According to the general director of the Bashkir club Alexander Kurnosov, the spring promises to be hot, and the Head of the Republic noted that the tradition of meetings before the playoff should continue.

“The regular season was dramatic. The whole republic rooted for you, and I would like to thank you for reaching the playoffs, ”said Radiy Khabirov. “The government and the republic will continue to support the club, to meet your wishes. I wish you a victory! When you step on the ice, many little boys are sitting and watching you. They cry later if you lose. Therefore, let them cry for joy. ”

Nikolay Tsulygin, head coach of HC Salavat Yulaev:

“It makes no difference to us against what team to play. All teams are strong, the season has passed and other clubs also reached pretty good shape. It is important to play with a strong rival. Last year, we lost the first match of the series due to a lack of center forwards”.

Alexander Kadeikin, striker of HC Salavat Yulaev:

“We are approaching the series with Avangard in a fighting mood. It was expected, as there were two options. The most interesting period starts now. There is no feeling that it is the worst option. Season games are different. Everything is different in the playoffs: concentration, drive”.

Salavat Yulaev will play the first games on the road in Balashikha on March 1 and 3. Home matches with Avangard will be held at the Ufa Arena on March 5 and 7.
