The final match of the Five Nations Tournament among the U-17 teams between Russia and the USA started with the active play of the guests. The Americans tried to dominate in the game, but the home team resisted. Moreover, peers from the USA started to make mistakes.

Toward the close of the first period, Denis Kadyrov assisted in hitting the net of the US team. However, the refereeing team canceled the goal, as the defender kicked the puck. Later, the Russians earned the powerplay and capitalized on it due to an accurate throw by Danila Yurov. Moreover, six seconds before the siren for a break, Fedor Svechkov increased the lead - 2: 0.

In the second period, the penalties continued, however, the score remained unchanged.

At the beginning of the third period, the Russians continued the attack, which in three minutes turned into the third goal by one of the leaders of the tournament in Ufa, Ivan Miroshnichenko. Four minutes later, Vsevolod Gaidama followed his contagious example - 4: 0.

In the end, the Americans went all-in and took off the goalkeeper to at least break the shutout. However, the victory went to the Russians who had never lost at the Five Nations Tournament in the capital of Bashkiria.

The Salavat Yulaev striker Nikita Soshnikov and the club General Director Alexander Kurnosov awarded the best players of the match and tournament. The best goalkeeper of the competition in Ufa was Valery Brinkman, and Danila Yurov became the most productive forward.

Finland took third place in the juniors Five Nations Tournament under 17 years old, the USA was the second, Russia - the first.
