Ufa chess player became silver medalist at Moscow Open-2020 International Cup

A chess player from Ufa became the silver medalist of the Moscow Open-2020 International Chess Cup.

Leila Tabermakova, the pupil of school No. 119 took part in the Moscow Open 2020 International Chess Cup, which was held from January 23 to February 3 this year. The girl competed with participants in the age category of 11 years.

According to the press service of the Ufa administration, the girl scored equal points with the other participant in the blitz, but according to additional indicators, she lost and became a holder of the silver award.

The grandmaster and vice-world champion Sergey Karjakin presented the award to Leila Tabermakova and noted that the children from Bashkortostan had excellent prospects.
