Head of Bashkortostan commissioned to create student Super League team after ASB Stars Match in Ufa

After the ASB Match of Stars (Student Basketball Association)-2020 in Ufa, the executive director of the association, Sergey Kryukov, asked the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov to create a student Super League team in the region in the next season.

“We will keep on going this way”, the head of the republic stated at a press conference after the ASB Stars Match -2020. “In general, I consider the development of professional sports from the perspective of youth. When I visit our districts, all the hockey rinks are full of children in green uniforms. I understand that hockey and the Salavat Yulaev influence on it, and youth are starting to be engaged in sports”.

According to Radiy Khabirov, Bashkiria is always open for cooperation with ASB. The Head of the Republic noted that the region would be ready to accept and conduct any events at a high level.
