Teemu Hartikainen extended his contract with HC Salavat Yulaev until 2022

The old-timer of the Salavat Yulaev hockey club Teemu Hartikainen extended his contract with the Bashkir team for two seasons. The new labor contract is calculated until the end of the 2021/2022 season. Thus, the Finnish forward will play in the Salavat Yulaev outfeat for nine years more.

The club press service recalled that on April 12, 2019, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov awarded the striker with the Order "For Merit to the Republic of Bashkortostan".

Teemu Hartikainen was born on 03.05.1990 in the city of Kuopio (Finland).

Gaming career: Kalpa (2006-2010), Edmonton Oilers (2010-2013), Oklahoma City Barons (2010-2013), Salavat Yulaev (2013-present).

Achievements: participant of the junior world championship (2008), participant of the youth world championship (2009, 2010), silver medalist of the Russian championship (2013/14), bronze medalist of the KHL championship (2013/14, 2015/16, 2018/19), participant of the world championship (2015).

Statistics in the KHL: 440 matches, scoring 314 (134 + 180), +68, 229 penalty minutes.
