KHL World Games in Davos: Salavat Yulaev will play against Ak Bars

Ufa Salavat Yulaev will host HC Ak Bars on Swiss ice as part of KHL World Games. The Green Derby is scheduled for December 23 in Davos at the Eisstadion Davos Arena (Weilant Arena) which seats 7080 spectators.

The team of Nikolai Tsulygin has a kind of “December crisis”. In seven games over the past month, the Ufa team won only in two. Of the three Ufa versus Kazan games, the Bashkir team only once became the holder of the Chuck-Chak Cup, twice the trophy remained with Kazan.

Ak Bars is the leader in the standings of the KHL Eastern Conference, so Dmitry Kvartalny’s players are in good spirits by the end of the calendar year. In December, the Tatarstan club halves victories and defeats - three by three.

The match starts at 11.30 pm Ufa time. The live broadcast will be available on Match TV, BST, KHL HD, Kurai TV (in Bashkir language).

The World Games project aims to promote the KHL in Western Europe and attract new fans. A year ago, the league threw into battle two army clubs - SKA and CSKA.
