Badminton players from Bashkiria won bronze and silver of world tournament in Italy

Ufa badminton players Alina Davletova and Rodion Alimov arrived from Milan with bronze medals of the Decathlon Perfly Italian International 2019 world series tournament. In the mixed pair, our athletes lost to the Korean representatives in the semifinals and climbed to the third step of the podium.

Alina also became the holder of the silver medal of the tournament. Together with Muscovite Ekaterina Bolotova, she was ahead of athletes from the Netherlands, Scotland, England, Sweden. In the final battle, the girls lost to the Bulgarian duet, which was in seventh place in the world ranking.

These awards allowed Ufa athletes to win regular points to be qualified for the Olympics in Tokyo.
