Snowboard World Cup stage will take place in Bashkiria

The first stage of the Snowboard World Cup will be held in Bashkiria. On December 7 and 8, the Bannoe ski center will accommodate 200 athletes from 16 countries who will compete in parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom.

“The stage will also be attended by two-time Olympic champion Vick Wilde. According to the results of the last season, two Russian women were among the best snowboarders of the world in parallel disciplines: the silver medalist of the World Championship Natalya Soboleva and Milena Bykova, ”the press service of the republican Ministry of Sports informs.

Bashkiria at the World Cup will be represented by a trainee of Alpine Skiing School Ufa Elizaveta Salikhova.

Tickets from 200 to 1.5 thousand rubles are already on sale for fans. A tribune 12 meters high can accommodate up to 3300 people. Spectators will be able to observe the progress of the competition also from a huge 10-meter LED screen.

Competition Program:

December 7 - parallel slalom-giant women/men (qualification, finals);

December 8 - parallel slalom women/men (qualification, finals).
