Ufa biathlete Anton Babikov will compete as part of the Russian national team at the World Cup. The first stage of the international competition starts in Ostersund, Sweden, on November 30. Recall that Babikov received a qualifying place at the World Cup after winning the IBU Cup’s overall standings last season, the press service of the Russian Biathlon Union informs.

Together with Babikov, the Russian tricolor at the World Cup will be defended by Alexander Loginov, Evgeny Garanichev, Dmitry Malyshko, Eduard Latypov, Nikita Porshnev, Matvey Eliseev.

Said Karimulla Khalili, Vasily Tomshin, Andrey Vyukhin, Kirill Streltsov, Evgeny Sidorov, Alexander Povarnitsyn, Ilnaz Mukhamedzyanov will represent Russia at the IBU Cup.

The women's team for the World Cup includes Ekaterina Yurlova-Perkht, Victoria Slivko, Svetlana Mironova, Larisa Kuklina, Kristina Reztsova, Irina Starykh.

Tamara Voronina, Anastasia Goreeva, Polina Shevnina, Irina Kazakevich, Natalya Gerbulova, Anastasia Porshneva, Anastasia Egorova will go to the IBU Cup in Norwegian Shushen (starting on November 28).
