Salavat Yulaev won Dinamo Riga in overtime

After a pause in the KHL regular season, the hockey club Salavat Yulaev departed for Riga. In a match against the local Dinamo, experts predicted a small number of goals. Their forecast came true.

The first puck hit the net of the Latvian team in the second period. The referees of the match watched the moment for a long time and still admitted the goal. The goal scorer was Dmitry Kugryshev. However, the rivals went to the second break with an equal score. The hosts achieved success with the help of an accurate throw of Nerijus Alisauskas from the blue line - 1: 1.

The final twenty minutes at the Arena Riga did not bring a scored goal. The outcome of the meeting was decided by the same Kugryshev.

The Ufa team earned two points and climbed to third place in the Eastern Conference. The residents of Riga remained at the closing positions of the West standings.
