Ufa native Semen Elistratov won third gold of Short Track World Cup in Canada

A trainee of the Ufa school of short track, Olympic champion Semen Elistratov won the third gold medal of the World Cup in Canada. On the night of November 11 in Montreal, the athlete was the first to finish at a distance of 1000 meters (1 minute 29.275 seconds), leaving behind Pak In Wook (1.29.361) and Pak Ji Won (1.29.417).

“Also, Semen Elistratov as part of the men's team, together with Denis Ayrapetyan, Alexander Shulginov and Pavel Sitnikov won the bronze medal in 5000 m relay”, Bashkiria’s Ministry of Sports specified.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that Elistratov won the first gold at a distance of 1,500 meters and a distance of 5,000 meters (relay race with Daniil Eybog, Pavel Sitnikov, and Victor An).
