After a shutout defeat from Metallurg (Magnitogorsk), HC Salavat Yulaev had additional motivation to rehabilitate in front of its fans. In the first period, the team of Nikolai Tsulygin did not succeed. Again, the powerplay and errors in the neutral zone failed. The guests from Kazakhstan managed to score the goal first. The Barys team was able to outwit Juha Metsola on the slot - Darren Diez hit the net.

Ufa players managed to fight back in the second period. The Finnish striker Sakari Manninen scored the first goal for the Salavat Yulaev team - 1: 1.
