Ufa will officially accept junior wrestling world championships in 2021

Junior world wrestling championships will take place in Ufa in 2021, acting Head of Bashkortostan Radi Khabirov reported. “Well-coordinated work of our big sport team has resulted in a new significant result. International wrestling federation has made a positive solution. Now we are facing a wide-scaled preparations and new opportunities for Republican sport”- the head of the Republic mentioned. Minister for youth policy and sport Ruslan Khabibov says the Ministry started preparation for Ufa to be chosen the site of the future championship already in July and prepared a corresponding application for holding the junior sports wrestling championships -2021 (Greco-Roman, free-style wrestling and wrestling among women) in the capital RB. “Sophia and Belgrade were the main pretenders together with Ufa but during the presentation of these cities Ufa has been chosen. It’s worth mentioning that for the first time Russian city wins an application for holding such competitions” - the Minister stated.
