Ufa will host All-Russian Festival of National and Non-Olympic Sports

On September 11, more than 500 participants from 23 regions of the country will come to Ufa to the All-Russian Festival of National and Non-Olympic Sports. The capital of Bashkiria will host the fifth sports festival, which is carried out as assigned by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The first four were held in the Ulyanovsk Region (2014, 2015) and the Komi Republic (2016 and 2018).

The program of the festival is represented by sports such as acrobatic rock and roll, arm wrestling, billiards, belt wrestling, all-style karate, weight-lifting, city sports, Koresh wrestling, Russian ball game, Mas-wrestling, sambo, dancing, taekwondo (ITF) , cheerleading, ball hockey, draughts, tug of war, etc., the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports informs.

The opening of the festival will be held at the Ufa Sports Training Center on September 12. The main sporting events will unfold at four venues of the city. Competitions in billiards will be held in the "Olympus" billiard club (Yu. Gagarin St., 1/3); cheerleading, acrobatic rock-n-roll and dance sports at the Priozerny sports and recreation center (B. Bikbay St., 13); hockey in the "Salavat Yulaev" Sports Palace (St. Richard Sorge, 41). The largest venue will be the Sports Training Center (47 Peoples' Friendship Avenue), where competitions will be held in all other sports of the festival. Entrance to the competition is free.
