Ural volleyball club returned to Ufa from training camp

The Ural Volleyball Club completed training camps in Poland and returned to Ufa. The Bashkir team conducted the first training cycle in Ufa and then went to the second stage of training in Gdansk. President of the VC Ural Valery Bagmetov spoke about the preparation of players.

“The initial training camp was held in Ufa; it lasted for two weeks. Next, as a rule, you need to change the location, go on a trip. Training is now cheaper abroad than at some Russian bases: in Moscow, Sochi or Adler. Last year, the Moscow Dynamo trained in Poland, we heard only positive reviews from them. Therefore, we went to the same base. We need a change of environment, conditions, this affects the players psychologically and ultimately gives a positive result”, Bagmetov said.

In September, Ufa will host the first round of the preliminary stage of the Russian Volleyball Cup. Six teams will take part in it. In addition to the home team - the Ufa “Ural” - it is “Fakel” (Novy Urengoy), “Neftyanik” (Orenburg), “Ugra-Samotlor” (Nizhnevartovsk), “Tarkhan” (Sterlitamak) and “Torpedo” (Chelyabinsk).
