On August 26 the coaching staff of the Ufa team made changes to the application for the game with Neftekhimik. A favorite of the public Teemu Hartikainen appeared in the first five-man line. The Finnish striker decided not to linger with the first goal in the match. The Omark-Manninen-Hartikainen line was successful.

The second goal was also sent to the gates by a Salavat Yulaev’s rookie from Finland. Manninen's throw was so unexpected that the referees did not even stop the game, but after a video review it was determined: the puck flew into the net with superior accuracy - 2: 0.

The goalkeeper of "Neftekhimik" was upset for the third time by defender Mikhail Pashnin with an assist of Alexander Kadeikin.
