Ufa HC Agidel will compete for WHL Open Cup
UFA, 14 August 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
The Ufa women’s team “Agidel” will take part in the preseason tournament “WHL Open Cup” together with five clubs of Russia, Hungary, and Sweden. Competitions will be held in St. Petersburg from September 3 to 8.
In addition to the wards of Denis Afinogenov, Russia will be represented by Dynamo St. Petersburg and SK Gorny, Sweden by Lulea, Hungary by MAC Marilyn.
“A round-robin tournament will be held to define the winner of the team, where each team will play with each. The champion will receive a Cup as a trophy, and the winners of the first three places will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals,” the press service of HC Agidel specified.
The Russian city will host an international tournament of this format for the first time.
