Fifth International Marathon will be held in Ufa on September 1

The Ufa International Marathon will be held on September 1. According to the press service of the mayor's office, the preliminary number of participants is more than 5 thousand runners from around the world. The program will include five distances - 42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km and 2 km, children's races and relay races.

A family race “Mom, Dad, I - Sports Family”, a corporate race, a race of the regions of Russia and “Best sports mayor” event will take place.

To date, the running event is one of the ten largest marathons in Russia and the Top 100 brands of Bashkiria.

According to the organizers, this year, as part of the marathon, a city festival with many activities, as well as a business forum, will be held also. Mixfights, a bodybuilding championship, a bike show, street basketball, a show of the republic’s most powerful man, Elbrus Nigmatullin, and other entertainment programs featuring Russian and international pop stars will be carried out.
