Ufa HC Agidel starts WHL championship with home games

The Women's Hockey League has published a calendar of games for the upcoming regular season. The Ufa team "Agidel" starts it with home games. The first match will take place with the WHL vice-champion Dynamo (St. Petersburg) on September 13.

Total, HC Agidel will hold 112 matches as part of the regular league championship. In the fifth season, eight teams will represent women's hockey: Agidel (Ufa), Biryusa (Krasnoyarsk), Dynamo St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg), KRS Vanke Rays (Shenzhen), SK Gorny (Ukhta) , National Team of the Sverdlovsk Region (Yekaterinburg), SKIF (Nizhny Novgorod region) and Tornado (Moscow region).

“The playoffs will begin on February 27, 2020. Four teams will continue competing for the WHL Cup. In the semifinals, they will play until two victories; the matches will take place on February 27, March 1 and 2 (the third game if necessary). The final series will be held from March 7 to March 15, 2020 - the winner will be determined based on the results of three victories in the series,” the press service of HC Agidel specified.

Also, Ufa hockey players during a pause in the championship will take part in the All-Star Game of the Women's Hockey League, which will be hosted by Moscow on January 11, 2020.
