“Football for Friendship” match will complete ICG-2019 in Ufa

The Summer International Children's Games in Ufa will be closed with a large-scale match in the framework of the “Football for Friendship” project. A meeting between ICG participants from around the world and the project’s ambassadors is scheduled for July 13.

Young athletes, journalists convey through football nine values to the inhabitants of the planet: friendship, equality, justice, health, peace, loyalty, victory, traditions and honor. Over the entire existence of the program, more than six thousand children have participated in it, including those with disabilities. In 2019, “Football for Friendship” set a world record and won the title for the most multiethnic football training in history.

The main sign of the “Football for Friendship” project is a blue-green bracelet. The ambassador of the tournament Anagni Cambodia, the Ufa mayor Ulfat Mustafin and president of the International Children's Games committee Thorsten Rush, received them in memory of the project in the capital of Bashkortostan.
