This week, new art objects appeared in Ufa, the installation of which was timed to the 53rd International Children's Games.
They represent the UFA stylized letters, glass steles with the ICG logo, as well as a suitcase with the symbols of the upcoming Games, which greets guests of the capital at the Mustai Karim’s Airport.
The developer of art objects is the Center for Urban Design of the city of Ufa in conjunction with the Main Administration for Architecture of Ufa.
"Today, we have already mounted nine elements, and by July 8 we plan to complete the installation of all 26 art objects," said Marcel Muratov, director of the Ufa City Design Center.
Besides, the mascots of the International Children's Games - marten, bear, and bee will be installed. As well as photo zones in nine sports, where anyone can take a picture, imagining himself a great athlete, swimmer, judo or wrestler will be arranged.
Ufa will host the 53rd International Children's Games from July 9 to July 14, 2019, with the support of the International Olympic Committee. 1200 athletes from 85 cities of 30 countries of the world will take part in the competition.
In 2013, the 6th Winter International Children's Games took place in Ufa, in which 800 children from 59 cities and 20 countries participated. Ufa is the only city in Russia where International Children's Games were held and will be the first city in the history of the Games to host both the Winter and Summer Games.
