Ufa will host "Football for Friendship" international tournament

Young football players and journalists from different countries will come to Ufa to participate in the international football match for friendship. The sporting event will take place at the “Neftyanik” stadium on July 13.

In the seven seasons, Football for Friendship united more than six thousand children under 12 from 211 countries and regions, more than five million people became participants in a sports, educational and environmental program supported by FIFA and UEFA, the Olympic and Paralympic committees, football federations, children funds, eminent athletes and journalists.

Before this, “Football for Friendship” was hosted by London, Lisbon, Berlin, Milan, St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Madrid. In Ufa, young ambassadors from Bolivia, India, China, the Netherlands, and Russia will take part in the 53-year International Games. Boys and girls will talk about the nine values of the program and give athletes a special award “For the Commitment to Nine Values”.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that from July 9 to July 14 the capital of Bashkiria will become the host city for International Children’s Games. About 1,500 athletes from 85 cities and 30 countries of the world will compete for awards in nine Olympic sports.
