Badminton player from Bashkortostan ranked third at European Games in Minsk

Alina Davletova, a trainee of the Bashkir badminton school, won the bronze medal of the Second European Games in Minsk. Alina Davletova, along with Ekaterina Boltova from the Moscow Region, lost to the Dutch athletes Cheryl Zeinen and Selene Peik in the semi-finals with a score of 21:18, 20:22, 14:21.

In the group event, Alina and Ekaterina beat rivals from Sweden, Italy, and Ukraine. In the quarterfinal match, the athletes defeated rivals from Estonia with a score of 14:21, 15:21.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that Bashkir athletes won awards at the European Games: Alexander Sergeev took the gold in rowing four, Ilya Pervukhin won the gold medal in the canoe double.
