Number of Bashkiria residents regularly engaged in sports will reach 55% by 2024

This year, new sports fields, modernized hockey boxes, and a new artificial surface in specialized football schools will appear in the cities and districts of Bashkiria. According to national standards, the region will purchase sports equipment. Thus, by 2024, 55% of the population of Bashkiria should be regularly engaged in physical culture and sports. The republican Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy is in charge of the "Sport - Norm of Life" project in the framework of the "Demography" national project.

"Sports organizations involved in training sports reserve for national teams of the country will receive state support, and organizations providing sports training in basic sports in accordance with the requirements of federal standards for sports training will be allocated subsidies," the press service of the ministry reports.

During the “Direct Line with Vladimir Putin”, the President of the country has repeatedly stressed that the Russian regions should focus on the implementation of national projects and inform citizens about it.
