Russian volleyball team beat Italians at Ufa Arena

The final match of the Russian stage of the Volleyball League of Nations started with full stands of the Ufa-Arena. The Russian national team met with Italian players. The first set was tense, in which the hosts of the tournament struggled, but snatched a victory. The set ended with a score of 29:27. The Acting Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, with his wife and young son came to the arena to support our national team.

The second set was not surprising, either. Italians began to make more and more mistakes, but Tuomas Samelvuo’s players added more in the attack with a difference in points - 25:16. By the third set, the Russians confirmed a status of the best team at this stage and completed the match with a 3-0 victory.
