HC Salavat Yulaev exchanged defender Sergienko with Dynamo

The ice hockey club Salavat Yulaev announced another transfer news. The defender Yuri Sergienko went to Dynamo Moscow in exchange for monetary compensation and rights to the Colorado Avalanche (NHL) player Sergei Boykov.

“Four adult pairs of defense players were formed in the team - a bit too much, so we met Yura Sergienko’s wants, who could be an 8–9 defender,” the club press service quotes the Salavat Yulaev sports director Vasily Chizhov.

According to the management of the Ufa club, the Dynamo offer was recognized as profitable, therefore, an exchange was made.

Yuri Sergienko joined the Salavat Yulaev during the 11th season of the KHL. He came from Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo and played 17 games for the Bashkir team, scored one point with "-3" plus/minus index.
