The Ufa hockey club Salavat Yulaev is replenished with an experienced defender, the current KHL champion. The contract with the 30-year-old Gagarin Cup winner Mikhail Pashnin is concluded for one season.

Mikhail Pashnin was born in Chelyabinsk on 05.11.1989.

His height is 185, weight – 98, shoots - left.

The playing career: Mechel-2 (2006–2009), Red Army (2009–2011), CSKA (2009–2012, 2017–2019), Lokomotiv (2012–2017).

Achievements: bronze medalist of the youth world championship (2009), winner of the Kharlamov Cup (2010/11), bronze medalist of the Russian and KHL championships (2013/14, 2016/17), silver medalist of the Russian and KHL championships (2017/18), champion of Russia and winner of the Gagarin Cup (2018/19).

Statistics in the KHL: 493 matches, 60 (13 + 47) points, "+97" plus/minus, 704 penalty in minutes.

Awards: the best defender of the month in the KHL (October 2015), the best in hits number in the KHL playoffs (2016/17), the best in blocked shots in the KHL playoffs (2017/18).
