Salavat Yulaev’s Juha Metsola recognized as best goalkeeper of KHL 11th season

The goalkeeper of the Ufa hockey club Salavat Yulaev Juha Metsola is recognized as the best goalkeeper of the 11th season of the KHL. This was announced at the closing ceremony of the season 2018/19.

The prize to the Finnish Salavat Yulaev player was handed over by the chairman of the board of the insurance company Anton Ustinov. Also, as a gift, Metsola received a certificate for the right to conclude an accident insurance contract for one year.

At the ceremony, it was noted that Juha Metsola won 35 victories and saved 94.1% (or 1978) of point shots in the last regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League.
