In 2022, Ufa can host the Volleyball World Championship. However, regardless of the decision of the International Volleyball Federation, it is planned to build a Volleyball Center in the capital of Bashkiria. The amount of investments, according to the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic, will be 1.5-2 billion rubles. Today, the ministry is looking for investors to build a sports facility.

The Ufa Volleyball Center is supposed to be constructed in Kalinin Park. In addition to the specialized sporting site, it will house a boarding house for 140 beds, a fitness center, a swimming pool, jogging tracks, open sports grounds, and a recreation area.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, also a new football stadium for 15 thousand seats is planned for construction in the capital of Bashkiria, the cost of the object is 3-4 billion rubles.

The founder of the Oblaka Center for Contemporary Art, Valerian Gagin, also proposed developing a creative cluster of 56 hectares in the territory of the Kalinin Park in Ufa called the Park of Arts, with a large park zone, areas for creative work and commercial real estate.
