Radiy Khabirov led column of Sibay half marathon participants

On April 21, an “Astrum Sibay Half Marathon” started. The column of amateur and professional runners was headed by the Acting Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov. More than 1,100 participants ran a distance of 2, 10 and 21 km.
This half marathon has become a real celebration for Sibay townspeople. Participants not only received commemorative T-shirts and bracelets as a gift but also decided to be creative, having taken flags and other items with them to stand out from other runners dressed in orange T-shirts.
The first place at a distance of 21.1 km was won by 21-year-old Maxim Sosegov, 10 km - by 22-year-old Ralif Hizbullin, 2 km - by 27-year-old Arsen Hamidullin.
At the finish, the head of the republic spoke to the locals and took selfies with them.
Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Republic of Bashkortostan was celebrated in Sibay, and the Acting Head of the region thanked the locals for their patience.
