Bashkortostan Government and Irina Rodnina signed agreement on sports development in schools

Today, in the House of the Republic, the Government of Bashkortostan represented by the Interim Deputy Prime Minister Lenara Ivanova and the All-Russian School Sport Federation, represented by its President Irina Rodnina, signed an agreement on the development of physical culture in educational institutions of the region.
Irina Rodnina noted that Bashkiria was one of the first regions where the first school sports clubs began to develop.
“In 2014, we started the implementation of the “Yard Sport” program, and today it was joined by about 60 Russian regions”, noted the President of the All-Russian Federation of School Sport, renowned figure skater Irina Rodnina.
According to Lenara Ivanova, Bashkortostan will unequivocally join the project of creating school sports leagues in various sports.
“Our main goal is to distract children from gadgets and engage them in sports,” said the Deputy Prime Minister. “We are happy to pick up what Irina Konstantinovna suggested as this means healthy lifestyle and team building, and many other different useful meanings.”
The agreement will be valid for five years and renewed automatically.
