Salavat Yulaev returned to Ufa and used the power of the home ice. From the first minutes of the third match of the KHL Eastern Conference Finals, the home team looked more confident. That was proved by a score on the scoreboard. For the first 20 minutes, three goals by Artem Sergeev, Jonas Kempainen and Teemu Hartikainen ht the net of the Avangard goalkeeper Igor Bobkov.

Guests managed to reply only at the end of the second period. The team of Bob Hartley capitalized on the powerplay and Denis Zernov hit the net - 3: 1.

Then the coaching staff Avangard took a chance and changed the goalkeeper Ivan Nalimov to the sixth player. The risk was not justified: the puck flew into an empty net - 4: 1. However, this goal was not final. Pyotr Khozryakov scored the fifth and victorious goal. Thus, the score in the series becomes 1-2. The next match in Ufa will be held on April 4.
