Four players and coach of HC Agidel will perform at World Cup

The final composition of the Russian national women’s hockey team to participate in the World Cup included four players from the Agidel Ufa team: goalkeeper Anna Prugova, defenders Anna Shibanova, and Maria Batalova, forward Olga Sosina. The coach of the Bashkir club Denis Afinogenov entered the coaching staff of the national team.

Total, the Russian women's team, which will compete from April 4 to 13 in Finland, included 23 hockey players: three goalkeepers, eight defenders and 12 forwards.

At the preliminary stage of the tournament, the Russian team will play in Group A against teams from Switzerland, Finland, Canada, and the USA.

The group stage match schedule:

April 5, 9:30 p.m. * Russia - Switzerland;

April 6, 6:00 p.m. Russia - Finland;

April 8, 9:30 p.m. Canada - Russia;

April 9, 6:00 p.m. USA - Russia.
